A colourful start to Autumn this past week with a number of nice sunrises and sunsets. Though, unless you're up early or stay out late, you probably missed most of it as generally it felt to be quite a grey start to the new season.

Last Week's Bird
Whilst most of last week was spent chasing the pre-dawn Ballarat icons, I did find this lovely Nankeen Night Heron one morning at Lake Wendouree.....

After last weeks Ballarat Railway Station images I was inspired to chase more Ballarat icons this past week. All of these were captured around 30 minutes before sunrise when the sky is just starting to get that blue feel to it.

Not Too Bad.....
Whilst I didn't think this past week was overly exciting, when I look at the images from the week it wasn't too bad. A foggy morning around Ballarat on Tuesday started a series of visits to the Ballarat Railway Station on succeeding days.

Weekly Wanderings
Another great week locally with plenty to share. A visitor to Lake Wendouree I've never come across before...a Cape Barren goose.......he's been there few days now. Some fantastic conditions at the Lal Lal Windfarm at the end of the week was probably the highlight, though I do like the view of the Dunnstown quarry.
