Biscayne National Park, Florida
Biscayne is about 20 miles south of Miami - I made an early visit there to catch the sunrise, and then we spent the rest of the day in the Everglades.
Everglades National Park, Florida
Something a bit different today...an Ahinga (bird) preens itself on the Ahinga Trail, one of the most wildlife packed trails I have ever seen.....plenty of alligators to come!
Dry Tortugas National Park, Florida
Finally back online after a lengthy absence. This is the sunrise at Dry Tortugas in the Gulf of Mexico (look that up on google!) I still find it strange to find myself in some of these places.....this was a great 2 night camping stop.....got some really great images to share when I get a bit better organised.
Rocky Mountain High
Spent all day Wednesday flying from Albuquerque to Miami, via Denver and Chicago, so not very direct! But managed a couple of nice images out the window as we flew over Colorado. Still plenty of snow around.
New Mexico Snow and Salt
Only got 5 minutes to get tis online.....heres an unexpected snow display on the way to the ranch in New mExico, then a couple from our tour around the ranch....great skies al day, and salt flats in the last made a great subject.....off to Florida, siting in the airport at Chicago.
Santa Elena Canyon, Big Bend National Park
Just in case I don't get a chance to post later today (its Tuesday morning here), this is from Monday morning. Today we are heading off to a 40,000 acre ranch near Willard, New Mexico.....then on to Florida!
Big Bend National Park Texas
Finally back on line after a couple of days. Currently sitting in the motel room in Roswell, New Mexico, but haven't spotted any UFO's yet.......Big Bend, our 40th National Park, was fantastic, and very hot.....over 100 degrees. First here is from Boquillas Canyon on the first evening, then one from the Lost Mine Hike the next afternoon. But the best pics I got were from last night, I'll post a couple of those soon.
